Primarily, academic institutions and their affiliated libraries can join HotLib as “Institute Member-Libraries.”
HotLib (Ignite the Mind) is an online library source network designed to enhance resource sharing and access among its “Institute Members,” the primary entities that can join HotLib are:
Academic Institutions: Universities, Colleges, Research institutions, and other educational bodies that have libraries. These are the “Institute Member-Libraries” HotLib aims to connect and serve.
While the benefits extend to faculty, researchers, scholars, and students, these individuals gain access through their institution’s membership.
HotLib is a network of libraries/institutions, not typically individual patrons directly.
